Delhi’s Most Memorable Nikah Couple Images To Share
No wedding day can go without pictures, and nikah ceremonies are no exception. The bride and groom may be the stars of the show. Here are five images of Delhi’s favorite Nikah Couple Images that they’ll cherish forever—and hope to re-create at their own weddings one day!

Engagement Day
As newlyweds, you likely have a list of beautiful images in mind for your wedding. Shaadimubarakofficials wanted to know what makes engagement photos stand out. So, we asked Delhi couples who said I do share their most treasured images.
Mehndi
One of my favorite parts of our wedding was being able to get ready with my closest friends and family in a beautiful space. We took turns getting henna tattoos, taking pictures, and simply enjoying each other’s company. The picture above was taken during my mehndi party on Thursday night. It was such a special time for us all. I cannot wait to see how much fun we have on our next anniversary!
Ceremony
There are several important things that are integral to a proper Muslim wedding ceremony. Firstly, each partner has to consent (or agree) to wed, as marriage is considered a contract between two parties. Next, they both have to meet in person, or at least with an intermediary, such as a matchmaker or through an introduction by friends and family. This step is actually crucial in Islam because if you don’t even see your future spouse then there is no way you can be sure about their character. If one of you can’t make it for any reason then your guardian should be present on your behalf instead.
Getting Ready
It might seem like a fun idea to take some wedding photos before the ceremony, but you’ll probably have to wait until after. A lot of couples get ready for their weddings separately, so don’t feel guilty if you want a moment away from your significant other.
Reception Party (Just the Two of Us!)
Getting married is a big deal—it’s exciting, it’s emotional, and it can be an incredibly fun party. Once you’ve said your vows and received your first kiss as a married couple, what happens next? We tracked down some of Delhi’s nikah couples to ask them about their memorable pictures from their wedding days. Check out our list below! And don’t forget to share your own! Our photographers would love to hear about all of your great photos on Facebook or Twitter.

Just Married!
In traditional Muslim weddings, photography is limited and mainly reserved for formal, posed images. Shaadimubarakofficials, a wedding photography studio in Delhi, captures unscripted moments between couples and families during these intimate occasions. Shaadimubarakofficials has found that one of their most common post-wedding requests is for couples to look back on photos from their own celebrations. Nikah refers to both an Islamic marriage ceremony and a couple that goes through it—which is why some prefer to call themselves nikah couples. Below are a few examples of some Shaadimubarakofficials‘ favorites captured during recent nikahs held in Delhi
